Popular culture is a thing that a large amount of people enjoy in the present time. Music is a very popular culture. Different genres become more popular almost every year. Another culture that can change is clothing and what people wear. Usually just the common people can change the culture of today. It all depends on what people like.
Popular culture can usually be described as what next bandwagon is in style. From the Beatles, to Nirvana, to Lil' Wayne, there has always been a type of music to be constantly used over radio, or "radio candy". And granted I'm staying in more of the topic of music, but that's generally what someone thinks of when they say "pop culture". Even though they're popular, doesn't necessary make them good in the opinion of others. Nicki Manaj, Lil' Wayne, Justin Beiber, and One Direction are all (sadly) popular, but they're on of the most hated musicians of all time, and they're disliked purely by what the created in the studio. Honestly, I'm into punk rock, metal, and rockabilly, and it honestly saddens me hearing trash played over the radio and being the ONLY thing sang by kids in my generation.
My band director is who influences me.He influences me because he is a hard working man and he helps the community.He helps the community by a drumline named Boom Squad Inc. The drumline keeps kids out of trouble and off the streets.He is also a lawyer.
Popular culture is something that spreads mainly through teens or young adults. It is usually music, politics, and etc.the popular culture now is probably music and clothing. I think that products like Under Armour and Jordan are influencing teens and young adults now. It influences them with commercials and it s all around the mall and other stores. All the advertising makes them want to buy the brand because it is popular.
I think popular culture is something that spreads around to other people just so they get there name out to people. Just like music, companies, movies, politics, and etc. Nike is who influences me to buy there product. Because Nike influences me to buy there product for the things I need. And I just think they have good quality to buy from.
